Dr. Russell Morrow is an intercultural educator, facilitator, and strategist. He has over a decade of years of experience in higher education administration and leadership, most recently serving as interim Vice President for Diversity and Inclusion at Ohio University. Dr Morrow has worked with educators and administrators, business and nonprofit executives, religious and political leaders, and more, helping build their capacity to engage and leverage cultural differences in support of individual, organization and community success.  He is a recipient of the National Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education (NADOHE) Chief Diversity Officer Fellowship, and under his leadership,  Ohio University is a 2x recipient of the Insight into Academia (Diversity) Higher Education Excellence and Distinction (HEED) Award.

 

Dr. Morrow received his BS in Communication and M.Ed in College Student Personnel from Ohio University, and has an earned Doctorate of Education The Ohio State University. He has also received the Inclusive and Ethical Leadership Certificate from University of South Florida’s Corporate Training And Professional Education Office. Dr. Morrow is a Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory® (IDI) and a Certified Diversity Executive®(CDE).

 

A resident of southeast Ohio, Dr. Morrow is an active member of his community. He serves on the boards of the Athens County NAACP and Ohio College Personnel Association, is an alum of the prestigious Leadership Ohio fellowship program, volunteers as a sports coach, and enjoys supporting local community events and festivals around the region.
